Dog friendly Springfield

Spring has officially sprung in The Ozarks, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to bring your dog out and about with you to enjoy the sunny weather! Unfortunately, this can also mean that your doggie day out can be cut short if a store or restaurant doesn’t allow furry friends. If you’re looking for pet-friendly places in town, here’s our list of favorites! (P.S. Make sure your dog is on a leash in order to follow the Greene County Health Department standard.)
Stores/Activities

Next time you hit up this Springfield staple, bring your dog to enjoy the fish, taxidermy, and outdoor gear with you! Pups are not allowed in Wonders of Wildlife just yet, but you can still walk around the store and give your pup some exercise on a rainy day. - 1935 S Campbell Ave, Springfield
Man’s best friend wants to tour a cave, too! You can learn about some natural history while exploring Springfield’s underground attraction. Fun Fact: the cave itself was actually discovered by a farmer’s dog in 1862. - 4872 N Farm Rd 125, Springfield
This Greenway Trail spans over 35 miles, so you and your pet can explore what the Ozarks has to offer in different locations while getting some much-needed fresh air and exercise after this long winter.
